Mirrors

You will find two Java Applets on this page dealing with mirrors. The first Applet contains a single source and a mirror. The second Applet contains a lens and mirror. Finally, the third Applet contains four lenses and is useful for studying optical instruments such as microscopes and telescopes. You will find a pair of text boxes, per mirror/lens, underneath each Applet. The boxes in the upper rows control focal length of a given mirror/lens. The text boxes on the bottom rows control the positions of the mirror/slenses. Click the submit button(s) once you have entered the appropriate values.
